How should I measure for a belt?

Measure around the area where the belt will be worn, over the type of clothing normally used with it. Alternatively, measure a well-fitting existing belt from the buckle attachment point to the hole used most often.

Is belt size the same as pants size?

Not always. Clothing labels vary by brand and style. Waistband height, garment thickness, and preferred fit can also affect the required belt length.

Which belt width should I choose?

Compare the stated belt width with the loops on the intended trousers, jeans, skirt, uniform, or other garment. Allow enough clearance for the belt to pass through without forcing the loops.

Can an adjustable belt be shortened?

Only shorten or trim a belt when the product instructions specifically permit it. Cutting, punching additional holes, replacing hardware, or otherwise altering an item may affect its appearance, strength, and return eligibility.

Will the buckle finish remain unchanged?

Metal finishes may gradually show marks, fading, or surface wear through regular use, friction, moisture, storage, and contact with cosmetics or cleaning products. This is not always a manufacturing defect.

How should a belt be stored?

Keep it in a cool, dry area away from prolonged sunlight, high humidity, sharp objects, and heavy pressure. Hanging loosely or rolling it without tight folds may help maintain its shape.

How should belts and buckles be cleaned?

Follow the product-specific care directions. In general, wipe gently with a soft cloth and avoid soaking, machine washing, abrasive pads, strong solvents, and direct heat unless expressly permitted.

Can these belts be used as safety equipment?

No. Budnoria™ belts are wardrobe accessories and should not be used for climbing, lifting, fall protection, restraining loads, securing children, or any other safety-critical purpose.
